No. Every icon is original to this library, drawn on our own grid. We never import, trace or copy paths from any set. A lookalike check runs before an icon ships and stops anything too close to another set. The FAQ page and the How we draw page explain the check in full.
Yes. Open an icon in the browser and copy it as JSX for React, or as a Vue or Svelte component. You can also copy plain SVG or download the file. npm packages for React, Vue and Svelte are coming soon, and the docs will show install steps when they work.
No. The icon browser and Studio both run in your browser with no sign in. Search, pick a free style and copy the icon. Studio saves your work on your own device and uploads nothing. Only the Pro styles ask for a licence key, which arrives after checkout.
Try another word first. Search looks at names, synonyms and tags across the whole library. If it is still missing, send a request from the contact page. Tell us the word you searched and what the icon is for. We add icons every month, and requests help us choose what to draw next.
Pick a set with the icons your app needs, one consistent look and a licence that allows commercial work. UIX Icons has 13,491 unique icons drawn on one grid. The free styles are. Regular Rounded, Regular Sharp and Solid are open source under the MIT licence, for every icon in the library. The other twelve styles are Pro. They are proprietary and sold as a subscription or a one-time licence. The license page explains what MIT lets you do and what it asks of you.
Most apps need navigation, actions, status marks, form controls, media controls and settings. Many also need icons for their own field, such as payments, appointments or shipping. UIX Icons covers the interface basics and 71 categories of field icons. The use cases pages show example screens and the icons each one uses.
Yes. Copy an icon as SVG in the browser and paste it straight into your HTML. It uses currentColor, so it takes the text colour from your CSS. You can also copy it as a data URI or CSS. A CDN link and npm packages are coming soon.
Use exact icon names. An assistant can read /llms-full.txt or /icons.json, or run the open MCP package and call its tools search_icons, get_icon and list_icon_styles. It should only use a name that appears there, never invent an icon, and say so when nothing fits. Every icon has synonyms and tags to help the match.
